Features
Quantitative Cardiac Function (3 modules)

Biplanar and Triplanar Long Axis Function Analysis
- Images in a 2-chamber view and a 4-chamber view (biplanar) are used to calculate left ventricular volumes, function and mass with the standard area-length method
- A mid-ventricular short axis view is added for the triplanar model
Multiple Radial Long Axis Function Analysis
- The module uses a set of 3 or more long axis cine views with radial orientation around a central rotational axis (anatomical long axis of the heart)
- The position of the slices is shown in a reference window
Short Axis Image Stack (3D) Function Analysis
- This module uses a contiguous stack of short axis cine slices
- A reference frame for viewing the slice positions with a perpendicular (long axis) slice is automatically displayed
- A thumbnail overview shows all images of the stack
- Automatic LV contour detection: One click contour detection including propagation to all slices and/or phases
- Adjustment of the slice range according to mitral valve position
- Optional inclusion or exclusion of papillary muscles
- Right ventricular contour definition tools also include semi-automatic definition of RV endocardial contours
- Results can be presented according to the AHA segmentation model
- Color-coded polar maps display regional wall thickening and wall motion
- Volume-over-time curves can be used for a detailed time-resolved volumetry
