What is cmr42
cmr42 is a software for managing and evaluating Cardiovascular MR (CMR) images. It is designed for clinical settings as well as for experimental and clinical research. cmr42 reads images from all major MRI system manufacturers and can be installed on all major computer operating systems.
cmr42 is exceptionally intuitive, yet has extensive functionality for viewing and measurements. Its tools include short axis and long axis ventricular function analysis, myocardial tissue characterization*, dynamic signal intensity analysis, evaluation of velocity-encoded images, and 4D viewing. The tools have been developed by experienced CMR readers and are optimized for clinical workflow. Its easy-to-learn user interface includes multi-cine display capabilities and facilitates a time-efficient evaluation and reporting. The program framework is designed for the fast integration of new approaches for quantitative analysis in CMR.

cmr42 provides full DICOM connectivity and therefore can be used as a stand-alone solution, integrated into existing network environments including major PACS systems (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems).
* The Tissue Characterization Module is not available in USA since the use of contrast agents for Cardiac MR procedures is not FDA-approved. A non-diagnostic version of cmr42, to be used for scientific research only, is available on request.
